Would you Please Pass the Preserves?! + Nutella?

I love this strawberry preserve by Bonne Maman. I gotta say the packaging attracted me first; it looked pretty. Then it was the fact that it contains real sugar. It tastes way better than what I would normally put on toast; grape jelly.

Upon finishing my first jar (& because the store was out of strawberry), I decided to try grape, only to discover that it wasn't actually preserves; I needed to calm my excitement & read.
The grape jelly isn't bad either; it's just not what I was looking for.

I've heard so much hype about Nutella! I'm excited to try it.
If you tried it, what does it taste like & what do you use it on/in?

I LOVE nutella! I eat it on toast, and sometimes on waffles!

Nutella tastes like heaven. It literally should be it's own food group and might just be my favorite dessert. It's best on croissants, in crepes, with wheat thins or with bananas. You must try it. I also do love Bonne Maman stawberry preserve and I know what you mean about grape not cutting it.

i have tried nutella. it tastes like a chocolate/nutty (mild) butter. it is OK. It is not heaven to me. but that's just because i am more of a peanut butter almond fan. chocolate is not usually my first choice for a treat.

It's funny you mentioned this. I tried Nutella for the first time about a month ago. It's now a staple on my grocery list.

I'm a salty snack eater, but I do like something sweet-ish every now and then. My go-to is usually ice cream or frozen yogurt. But Nutella is a nice blend of the sweetness of dark chocolate and the mildly salty after-taste I associate with peanut butter.

Cool!!! Thanks all, especially for describing the flavors...I'll definitely be picking some up to try! If I don't like it, I'm sure my husband will...major chocolate fan!

If you've ever had any Ferrero Rocher candy, you've had Nutella. The creamy chocolate substance that's around the hazelnut is Nutella. I can't eat dairy anymore so I am mostly eating Nutella on bagels as a cream cheese alternative. I haven't yet tried any cooking recipes with it.
