Getting your bangs to hang in the land of Shrinkage.

After watching this video on Youtube several months ago, I discovered the solution to get my hair in the front to hang down.

This girl looks crazy, no? LOL

Clips. Yes, the clip trick works!
Merely stretch your hair taut in the front, and place several clips (one directly underneath another) to hold the hair in the direction you want it to go. I tried this on damp braided hair, left the clips in for about an hour or so...

& Voila!

There was a Ms. Vaughn (on youtube) video that showed how she got her bangs to hang. She moved some of her hair forward, twisted it in bunches at the roots about 2 times, then slid a bobby pin in. The u-shaped end of the bobby pin was the main part holding the hair down. She did this along her bang lines and I think it came out well. If you understand my description, I think you should try it. :-)

Althought I don't have an issue with my bangs hanging in the front, I definitely have an issue with shrinkage!!

Also, I have a youtube channel now!!! youtube.com/lovenwright!! Singing "check it out, check it out, check it out, check it out!!"

Well i have the opposite problem, I can't get my hair to stand up so if you have a remedy for that i'll be sure to take a gander at that post.

Hey Valerie! My hair is pretty dense/compact, so it stands up with no manual help from me. LOL
...Maybe try a braid out, using a hairdress with a very light hold & braid the sections in an upward direction???
