Sleeping Awake.

Inception, Movie

Some say this is a Love it, or Hate it either love it or you hate it.

I merely Liked it. I think this is because, though I find dreams very interesting, this movie requires complete attention & a bit of patience to understand it. Don't go to the bathroom, don't turn away & cough for three minutes...because you might miss whether scenes are taking place in dreamland, or in reality.

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in this sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best there is at extraction: stealing valuable secrets inside the subconscious during the mind’s vulnerable dream state. His skill has made him a coveted player in industrial espionage but also has made him a fugitive and cost him dearly. Now he may get a second chance if he can do the impossible: inception, planting an idea rather than stealing one. If they succeed, Cobb and his team could pull off the perfect crime. But no planning or expertise can prepare them for a dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy only Cobb could have seen coming.  -Amazon
Random, but related...
Have you ever awaken from sleep, can see everything around you in your bedroom, but find that you're briefly unable to move. You mind is like, "Get up, get up, get up!!!", but your body is like, "Stiiill...sleeeeping.".
What IS that?!

Sleep paralysis. It's scary as hell.

Thanks Savvy! It really is a bit terrifying, as there's nothing you can really do, until you can move.

I've had this spell sevvvvvvveeeerrraaalll times!! My doc says it is a state of sleeping in which your neuro system hasn't sent the message to your bodily muscles. I literally screammmm help because I am so afraid of not being able to control myself and what is going on! Im always reminded of that medicine that paralyzes you physically but leaves you 100% aware of your surroundings!

Have you ever had the dream where you lose your teeth? Or maybe the dream where someone is chasing you around the mulberry bush? Have you even woken up and felt like there was someone holding your ankles...or is it merely me? Hmmm..

Luckily, my neuro system has been on it's job lately. Thanks for sharing:) Good to know it isn't just me.
